Hello!

With Mother’s Day this coming Sunday 9th May it has me thinking about caring for those we love, especially our Mum’s. However, what about you? What do you do to be the best “mother” for yourself? Do you make time to plan, prepare and pamper yourself? Putting ourselves as a top priority is essential now more than ever. We are bombarded with distraction, overwhelm and chaos in today's world.

If you are a Mum or have people that look to you for guidance they watch what you do, not what you say. As I have prioritised what food I need to eat to lose weight, to reduce inflammation and chronic health issues I have been facing, I have set firm boundaries on what I will and won’t put in my body. I hope and pray that my sons “get” the lesson way sooner than I did. They definitely understand the importance of reducing sugar and have experienced first hand how it impacts their immune system. Boosting health with sunshine, exercise and additional vitamin C & D when feeling off, can get the mind and body back on track so much quicker. As they become young men and think they know best, it can be tricky to step back and l

et them learn for themselves. So ultimately I can only be a light shining by example to them.

I hope you get pampered this coming Sunday, even if you have to organise something for yourself. We all need to make sure we are a priority in our lives too.

Sending love and well wishes to you and yours.

Winters Sports are back! Football season kicked off on the weekend for our family. My nieces started netball. Fortunately we had nice weather. Ice Blue Touch was out for ankles and corkies to thighs. The Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint combo are ideal for seasonal issues to eliminate the sneezies!
